Welcome to Our School Website

Our school in Fishermead has been open since 1980. During this time it has developed into a thriving lively school with some 340 children and a staff of 14 full time equivalent teachers plus ancillary help.

It is helping children and their families to establish themselves in the new city and has become an essential part of the Fishermead/Oldbrook neighbourhood.

We are delighted that the staff will continue to provide the best education possible for the children and with the support of you, the parents, and the Governors, Meadfurlong will continue to be an ideal social and learning environment for the children during their primary school life.

Obviously the ideal way of learning about a school is to see it at work and we, at Meadfurlong, always welcome parents and prospective parents into the school
