Welcome to Year Four
The last term has seen a vast improvement in the behaviour and learning of the year 4 children. Fewer incidents have occurred on the playground and in class. Fewer incidents have occurred on the playground and in class. Children have been collaborating well, both in and outside the classroom. The vast majority of parents attended the last parent’s consultation evening. Very fruitful discussions were held. In the coming term, teachers in year 4 will be accelerating children’s learning so that children are better prepared for their optional sats in June. Additional home learning will be set. This will include comprehension and writing tasks. Teachers have also begun to set home learning using Education City. We would encourage all parents to continue supporting their children with their home learning.
